今天看到一段Mozilla的宣传口号：
For those who choose to participate, Mozilla is your enabler.
For those who aim to innovate, Mozilla is your vehicle.
For those who aspire to change the world, Mozilla is your partner.
我想起了奥巴马胜选时在芝加哥的演讲辞：
To those who would tear the world down: We will defeat you.
To those who seek peace and security: We support you.
And to all those who have wondered if America’s beacon still burns as bright: Tonight we proved once more that the true strength of our nation comes not from the might of our arms or the scale of our wealth, but from the enduring power of our ideals: democracy, liberty, opportunity and unyielding hope.
Open Web Tools Directory,Mozilla 实验室的美妙梦想
北京时间2009年7月7日，Mozilla实验室推出了其集中工具目录索引服务，旨在帮助全世界WEB开发人员使日常生活更加简单方便。
OWTD
Open Web Tools Directory（开放WEB工具目录）专门启用了Mozilla的一个子域名tools.mozilla.com，大家可以进去体验一下，所有工具凌乱地布满整个太空，还好下方有一个基于Ajax技术的搜索功能可以帮助你从中选出所需工具，画面精致，这让我联想到谷歌中国推出的谷歌音乐挑歌，不知以后Mozilla是不是也准备不光提供目录检索，并且为用户提供免费下载。
作为目录检索，现在的版本仅仅是个概念展示区，Mozilla希望广大用户提供工具列表将这个“目录格子”填充完善，就像网名努力填充高考考生民族成分造价名单一样。
Mozilla官方告诉我们：要看到Open Web Tools Directory绚丽的效果，你需要安装了Firefox 3.5, Safari 4, Chrome 2 或 Opera 9（瞧瞧少了什么？）。
总的说来，OWTD画面绚丽，虽然如今富互联网发展迅猛，但我想Mozilla这样做可能仅仅是为了吸引人的眼球，以后还是要回归其简单易定制的特色，毕竟是目录检索，简单实用最好。
